April 1, 2009 – Syrus welcomes two individuals to the sales team.

Syrus Restaurant Information Services today announced the hiring of Carla Neer and John Straubinger who have joined the Syrus sales team.

Carla Neer, Syrus Vice President of Strategic Sales

Carla Neer brings to Syrus more than 15 years experience in leading sales teams, project management, and motivational team building. Previously with one of the Nation’s largest distributors of shooting sports products, Ms. Neer has a strong track record of success in new business development, division start-ups, software integration, web e-commerce and fulfillment initiatives, and value added services implementation. The recipient of several awards, Ms. Neer has been recognized for her outstanding achievements in executive level sales, consulting, and training to premier retailers such as Bass Pro and Cabela’s as well as hundreds of independent retailers. Ms. Neer enjoys attending sporting events and participating in most sports including golf and hunting.

Ms. Neer will be responsible for developing strategic partnerships between Syrus and restaurant owner/operators as well as vendors.

John Straubinger, Syrus National Sales Manager

John Straubinger offers more than 18 years experience in both Sales and Management to Syrus, and his account management experience includes clients such as JPMorgan Chase and Limited Brands. Mr. Straubinger has a track record of entering into markets where his company had limited or no presence and has developed those markets into highly profitable entities. He is strong at identifying key decision makers, learning his clients business and building meaningful client relationships by delivering superior service. While employed at Randstad, one of the largest international staffing providers, Mr. Straubinger was twice recognized as a leader of growth, and in 2004 participated in the prestigious CEO roundtable as a result of managing one the most successful and profitable markets in the company. Mr. Straubinger and his wife Kristin have one child, Brett, and reside in Westerville, Ohio.
