How difficult is it to learn and use?
Very simple due to two factors: First, there is no setup or maintenance that has to be done at the store level as there is with most other applications. These services are handled through the Syrus service bureau. Second, the application and interface are simple by design, not burdened with complex features and developed by people that know the restaurant industry and know that a manager’s time is better spent running the store than figuring out complex software.
Can Syrus integrate with any POS system?
Yes. Syrus currently integrates with all major POS systems. Our state-of-the-art Data Mapping tools allow us to easily integrate different types of data as needed.
What if some of my stores have different POS systems than others?
That is not a problem. In fact, Syrus will give you the advantage of one common back-office interface and reporting solution across multiple POS systems. In many cases this has allowed our customers to extend the life of their existing POS systems.
Can I customize the reporting to meet my specific needs?
Yes. We offer the best of both. First there is standardized daily and weekly reporting which can allow you to benchmark comparable results against other stores, markets, or organizations in your restaurant brand. Second, Syrus Analytics allows unparalleled customization of reports to meet your individual organization's needs.
SERVICES IMPLEMENTATION AND TRAINING How do I get started?
Just answer a few questions on our set-up form and give us access to retrieve data. We’ll handle the rest, including all the technical and administrative setup procedures. Once you're setup, we'll contact you for training and implementation of our easy-to-use tools and reporting system.
How often is training available? Do you charge for training?
We offer on-going monthly training on all the Syrus tools and applications. In addition, on-demand training is available through your Syrus Account Representative as you experience turnover or your staff simply needs a refresher. We never charge for training.
Are there additional charges for implementation on multiple POS systems?
No. If you purchase a different POS system for one or more of your stores, we will integrate those stores with the system for no more than the standard setup fees.
DATA MANAGEMENT How does Syrus compare to other reporting companies in the management of data?

Do we have the same Account Representative for the entire company, or a different one each day?
You have the same full-time Account Representative for the entire company, which allows us to understand your business deeply. You no longer have to worry about what happens to your information when there is turnover, vacations, or holidays.
Are there extra fees depending on how much needs cleansed, etc.?
No, the charge covers all work done, including specialized reports or questions.

Different customers depend on our Business Consulting services at different levels. But as their relationship with Syrus deepens, many of our clients are pleasantly surprised at the value that Syrus provides through its ongoing Business Consulting, sharing of best practices, and change management advice.
How do I access these services?
Syrus is flexible to meet our various clients' needs. We typically provide Business Consulting services in a variety of manners including daily conversations with managers, conference calls with Executive Management, and even periodic personal visits to the market.
